Biography

Visual Artist John Yuyi is known worldwide as an interdisciplinary voice of her generation. Her intimate depictions of the female body and aptitude for collecting, wielding, and reflecting on the influence of social media are a recurring theme in her practice. With two solo shows under her belt, as well as multiple residencies at numerous museums around the world (Photographers Gallery in London and Fotomuseum in Switerzland), it’s clear that Yuyi’s popularity spreads far and wide.
